100+ tintype artists gathered at John Coffers farm in Dundee, New York to celebrate, talk, and make tintypes. It was Coffer's 25th and final Tintype Jamboree, because it was getting to be too much work preparing the farm etc. What a time we all had! . It will go down as a legendary week, and I already want to go back.

Tents, RV's and trailers were all over the farm. The first two days was rainy and really muddy. The first piece of advice when going to his farm is to bring mud boots and that proved MORE than true this year. John always puts on a good time and we were all able to meet tintype artists from all over the world, many of which knew each other only from social media.

I felt a strange kind of emotion about the whole thing and shot plates like crazy mostly of the farm itself because I was afraid I may never go back to the farm. I am looking at all his workshops now to make sure I get to go back at least once more. It's a strange feeling.
